Stop losing sales to badautomotiveparts data
Your catalog team is too valuable to be manually parsing bad data.
Versable gets your catalog ready for agentic (and human) commerce, automatically.
A proud part of, and as featured on
Auto parts data is
really hard to manage
Until now, it was fast or right. Versable is the first system built to be both: automotive-native intelligence running at catalog scale.
Nobody sends data you can sell
Spec sheets, PDFs, half-filled templates, and three different names for the same attribute. Someone on your team reconciles all of it by hand, every time.
Attributes aren’t a nice to have
Fitment, position, material, UPC. A marketplace rejects the listing when they are missing, and a buyer bounces when they are wrong.
Every channel wants something different
Amazon, Walmart, your biggest distributor, your own storefront. The same part in four formats, against four sets of rejection rules.
From “we can’t onboard
this brand” to live
in 36 hours
JEGS has sold performance parts for 60 years and is always adding new brands. But 60–70% of new brand files arrived too incomplete to list, so good brands waited in a backlog or got turned away.
Read the case studyBy partnering with Versable we leverage AI to accelerate our onboarding process from weeks to days, significantly reducing costs while ensuring our customers find what they need online faster.

Comprehensive AI for
every step of the catalog
Extraction, normalization, enhancement and images cover the whole path from raw file to live listing, and every module is fully modular, so you can run one or all four.

Frequently asked questions
How are you different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a great generalist, but in parts, “pretty close” is a return or an abandoned cart. General models are trained on the whole internet, so they sound confident about everything and are precise about very little. We once watched someone ask an AI to copy an image exactly, 74 times in a row. It never produced an exact copy, and each try drifted further from the original. Here’s why “prompt magic” isn’t real.
We spend about half our time building the parts that aren’t AI: industry rules, standards like ACES and PIES, and validation checks every record passes before you see it. AI gives you creativity; guardrails give you confidence. And Versable works across your whole catalog at once, not one pasted row at a time. If you’re comparing vendors, these are the questions we’d ask any AI tool, including us.
Will Versable replace our catalog team?
No, and we wouldn’t want it to. A catalog manager’s job is a bundle of tasks. Some are strategic: knowing your product lines, your customers, where your coverage has gaps. Others are repetitive: copying attributes off vendor sites, reformatting files, cleaning up HTML. Versable takes the repetitive work, so your team can spend its time on the decisions only they can make. Our founder’s thoughts on where the catalog manager role is headed.
Do we have to replace our PIM or ERP?
Not at all. Versable can be your full parts data platform if you want it to be, from your system of record to AI enrichment to sending listings out to every channel. But it’s built in modules, so you can also plug in just the piece you need. Many teams start with one problem, like filling in missing attributes or getting listings ready for a marketplace, and keep everything else exactly as it is. Getting set up takes about 30 minutes.
What if our supplier data is really, really bad?
That’s what we’re for. When JEGS started with us, 60–70% of new brands sent data that needed heavy manual cleanup, and some sent nothing but a part number and a product name. The missing information usually already exists somewhere: on the supplier’s website, in a PDF catalog, on similar listings. The aftermarket never had a data shortage; it had an access problem. Versable gathers it from across the web and turns it into one clean record. How our web scraping module works.
What types of companies do you work with?
Anyone selling parts where specs and attributes are a must, not a nice-to-have. That includes retailers onboarding hundreds of brands, manufacturers sending data to their retailers, and marketplace sellers. Most of our customers are in auto parts, and we also work with companies selling HVAC, powersports and heavy-duty parts.
Why does this matter for AI shopping agents?
AI agents are starting to shop on people’s behalf: searching, comparing, and buying with no human checking the listing before checkout. That means bad data no longer just loses a sale. It creates a confident wrong purchase and a return. Walmart learned this the hard way: it pulled its in-ChatGPT shopping experience about five months after launch, citing wrong items in carts. An agent reasoning over bad data is just a faster way of being wrong. Versable makes sure your data is ready for both kinds of shoppers, agents and humans. Why agentic commerce has a blind spot.
How does pricing work?
It’s a simple monthly subscription that scales with how much data you run through Versable. Plans start at $1,000 a month. On a demo, we’ll look at your catalog together and point you to the plan that fits, with no guesswork.
How fast will I see results?
Usually faster than you’d expect. Most jobs take anywhere from minutes to a couple of days, depending on how complete your files are and how much needs to change. At JEGS, onboarding a brand used to take anywhere from a few days to over a week. Now it takes one to two days. One brand they had to turn away went live in about 36 hours with more than 1,000 new parts. Read the full JEGS story.
Can you handle large catalogs?
Yes, and the bigger the catalog, the more there is to gain. Some of our customers have millions of SKUs on Versable.
How do you protect our data?
Your product data is the backbone of your business, and we treat it that way. We never use it to train our models, and no other Versable customer can see anything you share with us. If your security team has questions, we’re happy to walk them through how we handle your data.
